Kitchen thermometers

A food thermometer is the most reliable way to determine whether meat, poultry, seafood, and other cooked foods have reached the recommended internal temperature. Place the probe in the thickest part of the food, avoiding bone, fat, and gristle; check more than one location when needed.

Clean the probe between uses, particularly after measuring raw or partially cooked foods.
